While the race the group with austrain Fritz, Druml, estonian Ilves and our guys Harald and Sindre were able to run forward and caught Nagamine during the second lap. Sindre couldnt follow this strong quartett that longer and get back in the 3rd lap. Indeed Harald made a great job behind the austrians. At the last lap it was a hard fight for the victory between this 4 athletes. In the end the austrians were to strong and Martin Fritz get the victory ahead of his teammate Tomaz Druml. At the last 200m it was still a fight between Harald and Ilves, but our man had no chance against the Estonian at his homeground. A 4th place isnt always the best, but it was the best result for Harald so far! :) He had a really good race until 9km, the last power for the finish will come soon as well for sure!! Well done Harald!
Behind him Lars made a good race as well and was able run forward to a great 6th place! Espen was behind in a bigger group but not able today to run forward as well. He did a good job in his group, but in the end he lost the fight for a 10th place against the fastest man at the track, finn Jim Härtull. Nearly same situation for Truls a few positions behind. Thomas had a good race and could run forward to position 14 in the end. Lars could as well run forward with the 3rd fastest time at the track in Top 20 and finished as 18th after his 10 km.
Sindre about his competition:
" The 6. place is okay. It was very close that it went all the way to the top. But I was really really tired at the third lap and had to release Welde. My jump today was not good and a bit disapointing, anyway I was happy with a second place after jumping."
Espen told us:
"The day was really good. Started out with a quite good jump, and had a good position for the race. I knew that it was a bit too far up to Ilves, so I desided to start the race quite easy and "wait" for the faster skiers there was behind me. And at the end I was still in the fight for the 3rd place so I had to go for it. And it turned out really good! :) "

"It has been a very nice weekend for me. It started good from my first jump, I like this windy and big hill a lot. Saturday I was really close with a good jump and a decent cross country race, only lacked a bit at the end. But I was still fighting for the top spots.
